I generally think the direction of this is positive. My reservations are related to the issues we have with medical ethics, especially around pharma research. We’re all aware of the trickery surrounding Covid vaxx and the power of whoever holds the research purse strings.

Hi, I hope you don't mind me using this article to comment on your latest contribution to The Line, but the editors locked the comment thread before I could do so.

Building on your excellent commentary, I have to ask-how many commentators who're condoning Hamas's actions are even Indigenous in the first place? When you look back at some of the batshit insane takes and actions some allegedly Black or Indigenous commentators have done, they turned out to be 'Pretendians' and ethnic fakers.

Ward Churchill claimed the victims of 9/11 were "little Eichmanns". Suzy Kies led an Ontario library to torch a hundred books in an act of 'reconciliation'. Jessica Krug claimed that the murder and dismemberment of a fifteen-year old boy was somehow a 'revolutionary' punishment of a traitor to his community. Churchill and Kies claimed they were Indigenous, and Krug claimed she was Black and Latina.

I wonder if that's a pattern among some of the real loons out there, especially when they claim to be part of a racial minority.
